Madelyn's First Bama Game

This past Saturday, my sister, niece, and my good college friend, Kelly, took Madelyn to her first Bama game.  I was a little scared at how she would do but she did GREAT!  I think the game being at 11:30 helped out (dont think I would dare take her to a night game).  She had a ball!  Her favorite part was the big band.  Her little eyes lit up when they came out on the field.  She asked me yesterday and today, "Mommy, maybe this weekend we can go to Bana (as she calls it) and see the Band?"

Madelyn is taking Gymnastics

Madelyn is taking gymnastics at Mountain Brook Gymnastics this fall.  She loves it!!!  She ask to go everyday and it is only once a week.  She is in a three year old class with four other girls.

Labor Day weekend with Friends

On Sunday of Labor Day weekend, we went to Lake Martin with some good friends!  As always, we had lots of fun.  Above, is Quinn and Madelyn getting ready for a boat ride!

Hill Family Mountain Trip

At the end of July, my whole family went to the Mountains to my brother's in-laws lake place.  Every year we have a great time and get a lot of R and R.  The lake house is on a non-motorized lake, so it is very quiet and peaceful.

Summer Fun

We went to Splash Pad this morning with friends and the kids all had a ball!

Last weekend, I went on a girls beach trip to Fort Walton.  It was a fun and relaxing trip.  It is amazing our much less you need at the beach when it is just you and not two kids.  :)

Patrick and I went to New Orleans for three nights a couple of weeks ago.  We had fun hanging out together and walking all around the French Quarter.  Thanks so much to both grandparents for keeping our children.  Patrick's parents had Madelyn and my parents had Brooks.

The Fourth of July

We spent the fourth of July at the lake and had a ball.  It was great to see Andrew and Elizabeth (they had been in Africa for 6 to 8 weeks).
Madelyn loves to jump in.  This is way different than she was last year.  Wow, what a difference a year makes!
