Fun Times at the Beach

We went to Ft. Walton Beach about two weeks ago and had a blast.  It was Brooks' first trip to the beach.  He did not really love the sand but enjoyed playing by the little pool I had brought.  The best $4.99 I have ever spent.

He would sit in his chair and play next to the pool for hours.  It was so funny, he did not want to touch the sand with his feet or sit in the pool.

So Madelyn left the scene, she was complaining about the sun in her eyes.  Maybe we should have tried 7 am versus 9 am so the sun would not have been as bright!  We had a great trip and look forward to many more family beach trips!!

Where has time gone?

Where has time gone?  Madelyn is 3 years old and Brooks is 18 months old.  We dont have a baby anymore.  I wanted to share these pictures that were taken at the beginning of April.  Mid April, we went to their well check appointments.  They both did great and Brooks was the only one that had to have shots.  I wish you could hear Madelyn as soon as we walk into the doctor's office, she says, "Mommy, no shots today right?  It's Brooks' turn?".  The nurses get a kick out of this.  She will make him get shots over herself any day!!!  Oh, the love of a brother and sister.  Madelyn weighs 29 pounds and is 35 3/4 inches tall and Brooks weighs 21 pounds & 8 ounces and is 32 inches tall.
